No. There's no wallet connection and no account required. Fill out the donation form, choose your coin, and you'll be shown the destination address to send from whatever wallet or exchange you already use.

Which cryptocurrencies can I donate?

We currently accept SOL and USDC on Solana; ETH, USDC, USDT, and MATIC on EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum); and Canton Coin on the Canton Network.

Are there really no fees?

Accepted Answer

Correct — 0% platform fee on every donation. We cover our own operating costs separately so the full net proceeds go to the fund you chose.

Will I get a receipt for tax purposes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once your donation is confirmed, a receipt is emailed to the address you provided, valued at the fair market price at the time of your gift. See our Tax Guide for more detail on how crypto donations are typically treated.

How do I know my donation reached the right fund?

For Solana and EVM donations, the transaction is sent on a public chain and is independently verifiable on any block explorer — your confirmation email includes the details you need to look it up. Canton donations settle on a privacy-preserving ledger instead, so verification happens through your emailed receipt rather than a public explorer (see the Canton questions below for why).

What is Canton Network, and why do you support it?

Canton Network is a blockchain built for financial institutions — it lets independent ledgers stay in sync for cross-party transactions without putting everyone's data on one public chain. We added Canton support so institutional donors (foundations, funds, family offices) can give crypto with the same privacy guarantees they rely on elsewhere, not just individual wallet holders.

Are donations made on Canton Network private?

Yes. Unlike Solana or EVM chains where any transaction is publicly viewable, Canton uses sub-transaction privacy — only the parties actually involved in a transfer can see its details. Your donation still settles atomically and reliably; it just isn't broadcast to a public ledger for anyone to browse.
